Owen Shipler, the Chief Learning Officer at Current, powered by GE, was previously associated with GE as the Northeast Region Manager – Lighting.

Previously, he was the Senior Marketing Manager and the Total Lighting Control Commercial Leader at GE Lighting Systems, Inc., where he has also been the Outdoor Product Manager and the Regional Sales Manager for 2 years each.

Owen joined GE in 2000 at the position of Digitization BlackBelt. He has also been with United States Air Force as the Acquisition Manager.

Owen holds his MBA in Business from University of West Florida. He also holds a BS in Legal Studies from United States Air Force Academy.
