Jim Sokolowski is the Director, Learning and Leadership Development at Edward Jones Since 2013, where he is responsible for the development of talent from the associate level through all levels of leadership.
Prior to this, he was the Director, Global Learning and Leadership Development (Chief Learning Officer - CLO) at Savvis, a CenturyLink company. As the Chief Learning Officer at Savvis, Jim Sokolowski was responsible for the enterprise global learning and development strategy throughout the game-based learning implementation at Savvis. With the mission: To partner with the business to enable performance through transformational learning focused on organization goals, his team positively impacted global organizational leadership capability and readiness, and increased productivity, effectiveness, and engagement of the workforce through learning and leadership development strategies that directly linked to organizational strategies.
Jim has also been the Director, Organizational Development and Learning (Chief ODL Officer) at Ontario Systems, and was previously associated with Insituform Technologies, Blockbuster, and Firestone. Moreover, he has been a Crew Chief in the US Army.
Jim holds his Master’s degree in Organizational Development / Training from Roosevelt University. He has also studied Business Management and Aviation Flight at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
