As the Chief Learning Officer at BNY Mellon, Wendy Lee Austin excels at providing tailored, learner-specific solutions. She has been the First Vice President at BNY Mellon. She started her career on Wall Street for Manufacturers Hanover Trust working directly with clients. Having relocated to Boston, Wendy successfully worked through the ranks in several managerial roles in securities processing, which led her to BNY Mellon in 1993. In 1994, Wendy facilitated the establishment of the Wealth Management Training Department which today supports over 2,000 associates.

Wendy's additional responsibilities include oversight and delivery of sales and client-facing professional training programs, client solutions training, professional coaching, technical training on Wealth Management's systems, and the successful integration of all new acquisitions. Wendy also facilitates training with our external clients through the Client Advisory Committee (CAC) and chairs the Wealth Management and WIN Mentoring programs. Wendy also ensures that all of Wealth Management remains compliant with current legal, policy, risk and ethical regulations.

Wendy holds a bachelor of science in education with a minor in business from the University of Vermont. She is a member of ASTD (American Society for Training and Development) and serves on the board of directors for Bay Cove Human Services. She is also a member of the Wealth Management Operating Committee.
