Sonia Hardaway, the Chief Learning Officer at Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS), is a seasoned Human Resources professional with deep HR Business Partner, Organizational Development, and Learning experience in the Healthcare industry.

Sonia has been associated with BMS since 2001. As the CLO, she is the head of global learning and leadership development. Earlier, as the HR Business Partner, Development Centers (R&D) at BMS, Sonia ensured the execution of a people strategy that supports bringing Oncology and Specialty medicines to patients.

Prior to this, she was HR Business Partner, Global Medical (R&D/Commercial) and she was into advising and coaching on HR Strategy in support of the Global Medical organization at BMS. Previously, Sonia has been into organizational development and has also been the Human Resource Generalist, supporting R&D for 2.5 years and US Commercial business for 3.5 years.

Before joining BMS, Sonia was the Human Resource Generalist at CIGNA, where she was responsible for Talent Management leading Financial Leadership Program.

Sonia has been a Cornell University student in Industrial and Labor Relations (ILR), and she has also done her semester abroad in International Business from Copenhagen International School of Business.
