Brad Samargya

Chief Learning Officer , Ericsson

 

Brad is the Chief Learning Officer and Head of Global Collaboration and Knowledge Management at Ericsson. He is responsible for global competence development for Ericsson for its 114,000+ employees and 40,000 field service engineers located in over 180 countries. This includes all competence needs from sales, to services, product development and support functions. Brad is also responsible for enterprise collaboration and knowledge management working closely with the business, in partnership with IT, to define Ericsson’s strategy, investment roadmap and change management and adoption. He is currently active in driving “Education For All” as part of Ericsson’s global “Technology for Good” and “Connect to Learn” initiatives. 

Prior to joining Ericsson, Brad was Chief Learning Officer and Senior Vice President at CA Technologies. He has also led learning organizations at Oracle, Siebel Systems, and Sybase. Brad began his career at Price Waterhouse and McGraw-Hill Education.

Brad holds his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance, Certified Public Accountant from Penn State University. He was selected to join the panel of distinguished thought leaders and Nobel Laureates to address the topic "The Future of Learning" as part of Nobel Dialog Week in Gothenburg, Sweden.
