Thomas Evans, the retired Chief Learning Officer (Retired), Board Advisor, and Senior Executive at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP, is a highly accomplished Corporate Learning and Development Leader with more than 25 years of experience in executive coaching, learning strategy, senior executive engagement coupled with overseeing the development and implementation of organizational and enterprise learning in the professional services industry. Throughout his career, he has focused on breaking down the walls of traditional classroom education and integrating an enterprise model inclusive of leadership, technology enablement, social interaction, and learning while in the course of work.

Prior to this, Thomas served as the L&D Leader, Assurance practice/ PwC University Co-leader for PwC, where he co-led PwC University for Partners, a critical post-merger integration initiative designed to advance firm culture, build trust and create a greater sense of partnership. He also redesigned the Assurance business curricula and introduced behavior-based programs to advance intellectual curiosity, leadership, independence, skepticism, conviction and a willingness to consult. In addition, Thomas introduced experiential learning with a significant focus on the use of metaphor in learning (i.e. investigating reporting, archeological digs, NASCAR pit crew, judo, improvisational theater).

Thomas has also been the Chief Operating Officer, PwC Middle Market Sector; Director and Chief Operating Officer, PwC National Professional Education group; and Certified Public Accountant (Associate – Director), PwC Assurance Practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP.

He is a Bachelors in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
